Bead & Pearl Knotting: Level 2 Class

This small, private group class is designed for those who have completed our Pearl Knotting Level 1 class or already have experience with hand-knotting techniques. The focus is on refining your skills, increasing confidence, and beginning a project you can continue and complete on your own.

PLEASE NOTE: This class involves detailed hand-knotting. You must be comfortable performing fine motor movements and intricate techniques.

Maximum: 3 students per class

What to Expect:

This is a Skill Level 2+ class (see skill level descriptions below).

Students will polish existing knotting skills and begin working on a more advanced knotted jewelry project.

Must be able to perform fine motor movements using your hands and stringing tools.

What’s Included:

We’ll provide:

• One strand of beads of your choice from our selected bead walls

• Gold or silver-plated clasp and jump ring

• Gold or silver bead tips

• One card of Griffin silk for stringing

• Use of any necessary tools

You’ll also have time before class to browse and purchase additional beads or materials in-store if you’d like to personalize your piece. You are welcome to bring your own materials if they are appropriate for the class.

Requirements:

Ages 14 and up
Completion of Pearl Knotting Level 1 or equivalent experience

Skill Level Guide:

Level 1 – No experience necessary
Level 2 – You’ve done some basic beading/knotting/wire wrapping and can follow directions and/or have taken a level 1 class with us before
Level 3 – Intermediate; you’ve completed a few jewelry projects
Level 4 – Experienced; comfortable with various techniques and eager to expand
Level 5 – Advanced; confident in all of the above
